Elizabeth's graduate program provided experiences in both medical and educational settings, focusing on a multitude of therapy approaches.
Elizabeth received a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Grand Valley State University in Western Michigan. Her graduate program provided experiences in both medical and educational settings, focusing on a multitude of therapy approaches. Professionally, her passion is working with children with dysphagia. In addition, she has experience working with children with feeding tubes, oral motor feeding difficulties, children with a limited variety of foods, and picky eaters. She also has experience working with children with traumatic brain injuries, Autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, ARFID, EOE, language disorders, AAC devices, and articulation disorders. She strives to work on functional goals that encourage children to interact and explore their environment. Additionally, she understands the importance of personalized early intervention and family involvement to help children obtain their best possible outcomes.
