Molly Peterson is an NC native who graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017 with an MS in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. She specializes in pediatrics and developmental disabilities.
Molly Peterson is an NC native who graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017 with an MS in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. She specializes in pediatrics and developmental disabilities. She previously provided OT services in public and private schools, group homes and intermediate care facilities, as well as hospital settings prior to joining the SPOT On family in April of 2024. She has a background and clinical interests in the TEACCH and FITT approaches to autism, social emotional regulation, and navigating transitional periods in development such as feeding, toilet learning, puberty, and vocational preparation. Molly integrates neurodiversity-affirming and evidence-based practices into her collaborative work with families. She is the mother of a one year old and 4 year old and enjoys painting and gardening when she is not chasing around her littles on the beach!
